    Thought for today .

It's funny that when green tractors are mentioned at a AC  show most think you are talking about John Deere . This is one reason people join  Clubs so they learn about the history of AC or just enjoy taking AC in General and showing their tractors.

The Allis Connection featured green Allis-Chalmers tractors at our annual Fathers Day Weekend Show in Middle Amana, Iowa. Seven tractor owners brought their green A-C's. The Orange Spectacular in Hutchinson, Minnesota also had green A-C's on display during their show, July 22 - 24.

We were at a local club show that we are members of (ESACCA) this weekend at Williams grove in Dillsburg Pa. The secretary of this club was talking people out of attending the GOTO in Maryland?? I also liked a GOTO comment on their Facebook page and now I am block from our ESACCA club Facebook page and the comment the guy posted was deleted also. If you have a personal opinion on the GOTO thats fine but why dose she feel the need to talk people into not attending? The GOTO was also brought up at the plow days we hosted for this club and they had nothing good to say about the GOTO. Why do such BIG Allis Chalmers people have nothing but hate toward the GOTO in Maryland?

Blocked? Wow I sent and email to her about something with in the group. And now she will not send me any emails about the club ( I'm still a member of) and I ordered some shirts and asked if I could pick them up at the show...still no response. Luckily I had some great friends pick them up. As being a new AC collector I was looking forward to being a member of that club, well that ship has sailed. I want to make new friends and learn about these great Tractors. I have a feeling once I go to the GOTO I will make those friends and find a better club to fellowship with.

sounds like a new secretary is in order.  A club should never talk bad about another club.

This club has alot of good people that are members but has poor management. If you bring up a problem and the officer's do not like it then they will do anything in their power to make you look bad. It is Pretty bad when the secretary of the club tells me that she hopes the GOTO is a flop

Would be a good solution but That will never happen. She's good at brain washing people into following her.

I will be there, hope to meet a lot of great AC folks. It’s a shame one person ruins what is supposed to a fun time of sharing everyone’s passion of AC with others.

AC 720 man I have found that if you want one of these meet and greet happenings to occur it is best to take the bull by the horns and get er done . Post on here when you plan on being there. 11:00 - Noon seem to be good times to shoot for . Not familiar with the show grounds , but most GOTOs have a "feature tractor " tent or flagpole, sign , some landmark that everyone could meet at. Would hope local guys that know show grounds could chime in . Wish I could be there as would love to meet up with eastern seaboard members. 2 week vacation coming up and more work than I can do waiting for my return . Hopefully you guys can come up with a plan and make it happen.
Sounds like it will be an awesome show. Wish I could be there.
