Look at the pics of the 72 All-Crop...notice the backside pic, the decal is one I have never seen...must beone of the last last 72's built....very nice shape..

Tom - I saw these pics looking at the auction links in another post...the last 72's were built in 1969, about 4 years past when AC was using the "starburst" logo and had moved to the "triangle" logo. To me this combine looks repainted and this "decal" on the back looks painted on with a stencil and not a decal. Look at the other pics with various "starburst" logos pasted elsewhere on the combine...those didn't look original to me either.
That said - still looks like a very nice 72 and if it's been repainted/redecaled/restenciled, it's a very nice job. Mike |

I pulled the photos in close and it isn't hard to see that dents dirt and patches have been painted over, it is an older repaint job. Not knocking the machine but perhaps why the decals aren't the same as most? |

Was wondering if it was a repaint....oh well...
The "66" decal on that model 66 didnt look right either...neither did the copius coon poop!

My parts book (dated January 1969) for the 72 lists the same part number for the "All-Crop Harvester" transfer (The book calls decals transfers) that the 66 and 90 used. Thus this combine has incorrect decals.
