I have an old Gleaner L2 combine that I’m going to be rebuild the engine on.
I’m pulling the motor to rebuild it an was wanting to know the motor weight to make sure my overhead lift will pick it up. It’s an AC 670T. TIA |

Not a ton. I'm thinking around 1500 lbs for just the bare engine not the radiator and frame.

Per Allis-Chalmers FE-724 691 (January 1969) Model 3500 Turbocharged 192 hp diesel engine brochure; net weight basic engine: 1310 lbs (dry~no fluids?) So if engine contains fluids and you'd like to calculate to include fluid weights; then below are fluid capacities listed in brochure: crankcase capacity: 15 qts (weight? 3.75gallon @ 8lbs/gal ~ 30lbs) cooling system capacity(engine only): 14 qts (weight? 3.5 gallon @ 9.6lbs/gal ~ 33.6 lbs)
