AC 5040 hydraulic question

   I’m going to add a front end loader to my ac 5040 . It has  1 pair of rear remotes and the hydraulic pump is at front of engine . Can I plug into the hydraulic system by removing the bypass valve at the rear remote controls?  The illustrations in my shop manual seem to elude to that .
