AC 190 xt power director failure

AC 190 xt power director hub and steel sealing ring failure. 
I replaced hub and sealing rings with new original equipment parts from local dealer.
After 70 hard use hours power director started slipping. The center steal ring had worn into the new hub so bad it would not come apart. Clutch housing was ruined when using a  puller to remove hub.
Bought used clutch housing, new hub and  new steel rings and reassembled. Tractor ran several hard hours and started slipping. Front steel ring had worn into hub bad enough to cause slipping.
What could cause this? Could hub be soft? 
  Input shaft and bearing were new also

What is the clutch pressure set at ??    I can't imagine the grooves on the tail of the Power Director clutch are "square" after all this. They must be square. Cannot have a taper worn into one side.

hey Dr Allis,
Pressures were good 250 to 270 psi high and low. Original clutch housing was good.  The used one was not the best but put it in to get him going.  I will find a better one this time around. Just called my local dealer and he was to see if they could come up with something.
I believe wore linkage caused the original warped disc and  plates and this was fixed.

Is the wear concentric or worse on one side of the housing ? Could be an alaignment issue - dowel pins in - and in good shape ?

Thanks for the response. Alignment looks good. Dowels are good. Bolts were tight. The hub (retainer) is wore uniformly. The used power director rear housing was not the best but the steel ring that cut into the retainer was on the best housing groove. I think I have found a good housing and will use it along with the old retainer. The retainer is wore some but years ago I have used ones that were worse without any issues. The retainer is cast so I can't think they need to be hardened.  Seems to me the rings and housing are all there is.

Housing bore can be bored and sleeved with a steel sleeve - have had a few done. If you think it would help.

Transmission was gone through with all new bearings. New oem input shaft bearing has half the number of rollers as the old one did. Thinking about this I am going to check all shafts for runout with dial indicator. Visually all look good.
