Hello,

I'm in the process of switching our 160 from a single remote valve block to a dual remote valve block that I pulled off of our parts tractor (in the moment anyway!)

When I pulled it off the tractor I noticed that on one valve one of the threaded sleeves is cracked and the top part of both plungers is broken in half.

Has anyone else seen this type of damage before? I'm wondering if this could be usual wear or if at one point something was forced until it broke?

Sorry I don't have pictures, my camera battery is dead and I'm charging it now, I'll add some pictures later this morning.

-Thanks,

Erik

Ok, Quick update.

I called the local Agco dealer and all the parts I had listed are obsolete. Does anyone know of a source for parts for this block, or a source for a new block that would bolt up?

New parts are likely going to be impossible to find & used ones will be nearly so. Possibly a machine shop could repair yours. My own 160 did not come with remotes (Dad bought   it new in '72) so I plumbed in a generic valve mounted to the left of the seat.  Bill
