My neighbors 917 Hydro's rear attachment lift cable broke. Since he does not have internet or a smartphone, I told him I'd try to locate one for him. Does anyone know what this cable is called (I'm just guessing at the name? I assume there is a equivalent Simplicity model, does anyone know what it may be? | |

I have a 900 series parts book. The A-C part number for the rear lift cable is 1657563-1. Hope this helps.  Don Jr.

| There were 2 kinds commonly used. Does the cable have an adjustable clevis on the rear or is it non adjustable? The non-adjustable cable is longer at about 41" length. Part # is 174086  = 1651454SM The adjustable cable is about 38.63"  long. Part # is 1657563SM. Both should be available through a Simplicity dealer. | |
