912 or 916?

We were given a garden tractor which has a 912 on the hood, but has a 341 engine in it. We don't know if we have the wrong engine or the wrong hood. Was a 916 just a 912 with a different engine or were there any other difference?

Have any pictures. Most of the 900s were mostly the same. When I was a kid I took a motor out of 912 and put in a 710. Is the SR number sticker still on frame. I think the 916 had wider tires on back

ID number is 1690516. Appears to be a 912 frame with a 16 hp engine on it.
