I've been told the ps transmissions were the same.Does anyone know if they will interchange? I have a 8070ps with imput seal leaking...I can get a completely reconditioned ps out of a 7045 and thought about just putting it in the 8070 when I split it apart. Thanks to anyone who may know.

The 8000 series front housing is made a little different than a 7000 series they made it a little wider so they could drill the two bolts for the back hood brace for the 8000s if you can figure out how to make a brace should work for you .Niel

If only the input shaft seal is leaking, why do you want to replace the transmission??? |
