Get an exhaust shop to make you a new one. Maybe even a nice chrome one!

I second this also! Have them on all 3 of our 8000 series. If you have ever looked inside the factory muffler, you'll wonder how the engine breathes through that thing. |

How much louder is the muffler eliminated than the factory exhaust. I'm thinking about putting one on the 8050?

on the muffler eliminator where does it stop do you need that double bend pipe that comes out of the muffler or does the eliminator go up to the bottom of the hood for your stack to go on? Also if anyone has one on a tractor could you take a pic and post it thanks

The eliminator just eliminates the muffler. You still need the exhaust pipe that connects it and goes out thru the 'hood.

Just ordered both the exhaust pipe and muffler eliminator for my 4w-220 from Thomure in MO. I think the exhaust pipe was $150.00 and the eliminator was $169.00. We have the muffler eliminator on both our 8070s and it helps reduce the heat under the hood. Agco wants $300.00 just for the exhaust pipe.

I ordered the Exhaust pipe it is a nice piece for $150 i had him leave it plain and not paint it so i could use some high temp paint. The Fit was excellent. He added an extra $10 onto the shipping over the Quote he gave me it was $200 shipped to north central Iowa. Little disappointed in the add on for price but its on and don't have to think about it again for another 30 years.

I have muffler elimination kit and chrome stack on my 8070. I would definitely do the elimination kit again but not the chrome stack. It looks nice but the glare from cab lights shining on the chrome is like a really good flashlight shining right your face all the time if you do much field work at night. As it has turned darker with use not as bad but will probably paint a flat black strip on side of stack facing the cab...if I turn inner lights up to avoid the stack then they don't help much in front of tractor.
