Is the kit still available to change the throttle location from the dash to the side control area? If so, what do you think the cost of it is? At one time I know it was pretty expensive. Thanks, rrhead(SD)

don't know the answer but couldn't you get everything off a later model at the salvage yard?
Im used to the side throttle on the 220 and don't see the benefit on my 8070.

Before the new style was invented, I used to modify the existing old style to cut the travel/throw in half, so that wide open was straight up 12 noon. This was pretty acceptable and waaaay better than factory. PM me and I'll try to explain better. If you remove the RH side of your dashboard (after removing the throttle lever) you'll be in the area i'm talking about.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at an 8030 that has the throttle by the dash. Our 8050 has the side throttle. Really like it on the side. If I do get the tractor I will get in touch with the Dr. Thanks again, rrhead(SD)
