I just went and looked at a 7gb yesterday it has the allis chalmers decals on it not fiat so i know its probably a 69 model anyway after it run for about 10 minnets or so the steering and the speeds start slowing down he said it had new pumps on it . and not to mention the cloud of smoke it made the undercarrage is 50 percent at best .so i asked how much are you asking for the machine he said 13500.00 us and not a penny lessShocked so i said well thank you for your time .  I think thats to much buts thats my guess

The GB is newer than the 7G but definitely not an advantage.  If the pumps were new or newer replacements and it still slowed it probably has a stopped up suction strainer or plugged filters they failed to clear.  Better luck next time on a less pricey machine.

I thought 13500 was pricey for that machine my dad bought a 1974 7gb  model in 1978 for 10000 and he was very disapointed with it .it had the fiat allis decals on it. he traded it off for a hd7g and and a hd6 dozer .
