Question, working on painting a 720 and it appears that the mower deck, wheels and seat are painted "white". I know about the simple tractors web site and there are some images of the 720 but is this a bright white or somewhere between that and the cream of the full size tractors. We do not have a set of decals yet, can someone share if the hood decal bottom half is bright white or an off color white. Thanks for the help.

The White decks on these tractors were "clean" white as were the front mount blades and tillers offered for a few years. They also had a coloured stipe on the right side. The hood stripe is also White. The white on the Simplicity regular sized tractors were Cream White, but whiter than the cream white on AC wheels. The implements were offered in White for AC and Orange for Simplicity, but there was some cross over stuff so either colour implement is acceptable.

Are the 720 grills black or white? I have seen both.

All the 720's have black grille's. The 620 & 616 were cream/white. One of mine has a orange deck and one white. Both 620 decks were white.

I believe the correct color for the white is Allis cloud white. Not cream or white. This cloud white is a bit off white. I painted my AC 620 with this color and matches perfect. Agco dealers carry this paint in spray or I got my mixed in qts and gals for spraying bigger equipment. Just what I done. Thanks |
