Decided to get AC720 hour meter operational; are they repairable? Are new units available? What has been your experience? Herb(GA)

I think new Hobbs hour meters are available, but if they are like the original you can be certain that it will die a premature death - most of them do! The one on my 620 died at 1200 hours. I would say save your money.
