Remove timing window on side of pump. Turn engine until the two lines up. Remove round cover on front of pump,remove 4 bolts holding gear to pump. Remove inj. lines from pump and clamps holding lines togather. Remove linkage. Remove the 5 bolts holding pump to front plate from the front and remove pump. MACK

You have helped me a lot in removing my 7050 injection pump but I don't know how to install it. Do you have any ideas? Please help.. Thanks!

Repeat what Mack said, only backward. Make sure the motor is still timed up right (hasnt been moved since you took off the pump), take off the window and line it up, re-attach all your bolts to the gear, put the cover back on, hook up all the lines, prime it with your hand pump, and you're ready to go.

a 7050 is timed at 24 degrees I think.

7030 is 24 degrees BTDC and 7050 is 26 deg....that is IF they still have the original advance mechanism in them. I always changed them over to the 7040-7060 advance (16 degrees and 18 degrees) to improve the cold starting issue.
