will be attending a sale with a 7030 on it am wondering what to watch out for on this tractor.

I really don't know of any particular "weak points" to watch for, but just check out all of the usual things that you would check for on any other tractor. Pull the dipstick and see if the oil is clean and full, look for signs of neglect, tires, shifting, odd colored smoke, how it sounds, tings of that nature. Should be some good cheap horsepower.
