I'm going from 20.8's to 18.4's and went with used 16" rims off a Oliver 1855 but the problem is only 2 rim lugs will line up and the ops manual says to line up at least 3. I always thought most double bevel rims were the same.

When I bought the 20.8's for my 856 last fall, tire dealer talked about this with me. I believe there is a 7 lug rim and a 9 lug rim. I'm sketchy on the details and I dodged that particular bullet. The 18" rims I bought match the wheel centers. He mentioned something about needing three lugs to line up. The man has been in the tire business a very long time, when he talks about stuff like this, I pay attention.

We ran a 400 HP D21 farm stock puller with only two holding for years. A 7020?? keep them tight and I don't think they will ever bother.

Thank you for the replies. We'll get them straight and tight and run it. I apologize for all the dumb questions and there will probably be more but I prefer to do things once .
