I am in the process of restoring a 620 it had the muffler that went out though grille I would like to change it so it exhaust out the hole in the side of the hood and not cut a hole in my new grille screen does the pipe make a right angle where it comes out of the muffler or do they have some other set up a picture would help THANKS Tom

I bought a brand new muffler for my 620 from Sandy Lake 5 years ago.  It was all one piece and had the exhaust coming out of the left side on a 90 degree angle.  It is an original Simplicity.  Not cheap either!

Got mine from Brenda as well, $260 if i remember correctly. But, it was worth it. Just glad I was able to get one. Nice, well made muffler.
