I need help. I crossed referenced the belt number with a simplicity. I bought the belt which is 78x1/2 belt doesn't fit it's way to big. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I saw you in my belt trouble thread also, I just figured this out this morning. I put on a 70inch by half inch belt and it works great not too tight not too loose. I tried a 68 and the mower wouldn't shut off. Hope this helps you.
