Have a problem that should be a easy fix on the 6080 but it has become a huge pain in the rear end. One of the front tires is out of alignment..it is pointing out and is probably about 1 1/2 inches out of alignment. Question....what is the best way to correct this. I have loosened up the collar that holds tie rod and pounded on it etc.. Done a few other things and just can't get it to move. In the last 3 days I have had 2 rims break off because of the tilt. Any suggestions would be great. Have an original AC 6080 service manual but it doesn't touch on this issue.

Your probably going to have to heat it up to break the rust, Then lots of penetrating oil.

I've been doing the pen oil, need to put heat to it. The tie rod end is threaded on the side the steering ram is hooked to. So is the tie rod assembly it goes into also threaded? I've seen both ways. Also does the tie rod assembly expand? I see there is a bolt on other side that holds it together. If it expands what is distance to the next hole. Thanks for the reply
