What would be a fair estimate for an engine overhaul on a 6080 Allis? Assuming no major problems.

My cousin had his done at the Agco dealer I think he said it was $6200.

If doing the work yourself and sending out for machining I would say an out of frame would cost you in the neighborhood of $3000. Depends on how much work it needs really. If just in framing and only going over the head at the machine shop then closer to $2000. I have not done a 6080 but finished up a 6060 over the past winter.
