Dad has a 6060 2wd that is notorious for breaking front spindles. He has a loader on it, but he's not doing anything that I would consider extreme with it. Question is are all the 6000 front ends the same or is a 6080 front end heavier? And if it is could it be swapped into a 6060? Thanks.

Don't have a good answer to your question, just this anecdote. A cousin has a 6060, has broken lots of spindles, like 5-6! It does have a loader on it. Dad bought my 6080 new in '84, it has worn a loader it's whole life, both spindles are original as far as I know. I really don't think the cousin ever abused his 6060, no idea what's going on here.

Let some air out of the front tires to soften them up a bit. 6060-6070-6080 I think they are all the same spindles as far as strength goes. Might be a height difference, but the bottom is the same.

I think all replacement spindles from Agco are made by A&I. Bad news. That's why the original did better than the replacement. MACK
