 Topic: 6 volt generator wiring

Need wiring diagram for a B tractor that does not have lights or the light switch. No need for lights as I use this one with a belly mount mower so never use it after dark.

the generator has two terminals... A ( or G) and F ( ground).
The "G" wire goes to the cutout switch, and the switch goes to the ampmeter for power.... the "F" wire is grounded thru the LIGHT SWITCH directly ( about 8 amp charge) , or thru a resistor in the light switch to ground ( about 2 amp) charge.
Without the light switch , if you ground the "F" wire, you might overcharge it.. Would be best to put a RESISTOR in the line connected to ground to get trickle charge... Or you could put a toggle switch and turn it ON ( ground the F) for an hour once a week and recharge the battery
.

actually, you COULD ground the F wire and then put a toggle switch in place of the CUTOUT.... When you turn the switch ON it would charge 8 amps, and when OFF it would not charge..... BUTT....... you got to remember to turn it OFF when not running or it will kill the battery..
Again, maybe charge an hour, once a week.

Steve Ill, from your response you do not understand my question. I said there is no lights or light switch in the charging system, reread until you understand my question.

can you comprehend ENGLISH ?? I said you DONT NEED A LIGHT SWITCH... But you DO NEED to control the current... Adding a RESISTOR that is normally used in the light switch will work... Or do it with a TOGGLE switch....... REREAD... REAL S-L-O-W...

hmm, since it's used for mowing( several hours at a time ?)wire up like the last diagram ( no switch). This is the 'slow ' charge mode. If after cutting grass ,tractor doesn't start nice (low battery), then you will need to add the 'high charge' switch 'option'. In my case i don't run for long periods of time, so I changed to alternators for quick recharge times.
