What is the easiest way to convert my D17 diesel to 12 volts. It already has the 12 volt starter and battery, just need to convert the gen/alt portion. If possiable please list what is recommended parts also.

I am sure all D-17's were 12 volt, especially the diesels.

Yes, the diesels are 12V already. Sorry, the diesel part didn't register when I read the post...
