I would think it would be hard to clean after at 3500 lb.  The wd45 would better than a D15 for the transplant. D15 has tooo many weak places for that HP. Trans, pinion, and final drives.
The 45 has some weak places, but they can be taken care of much easier than a 15.   Good luck and hope the best in your endivers.
If I can be of any help on the weak parts let me know.   MACK

MACK I need a set of d 19 gas rods flame hardened . Can you help with that after talking with you I think that's been my rod issues. The head on the 433 is a cross flow right? Does it have four individual intake ports?
Mack and Dr.Allis  how much hp do you think one of these engines can produce ?
Mine if I build one will be normally aspirated alcohol injected with some extra stroke and bore if its do able. I am hoping I can use the injector holes for spark plugs.  I really need one purchased to check it out further if anyone knows of one forsale

I think I have 6 heat treated rods. They will be 35-40 rockwell hard.
Don.t know how hp you can get without a turbo and on alc, but I've seen them stock with only pump turned up and stock rpm make 115 on dino.  MACK

You need to find an engine out of an H-4 crawler. It is the gas version of the 2200 series engine which later became the 433. I don't know anything about them except that they exist. I don't know of any other application for the gas version.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

Dear Debbie 7562:   Take Mack's advice...don't use a D15 chassis. I've seen them with teeth off of the ring&pinion with 46 hp....I can only imagine what a 433I engine would do to them tiny teeney weeney gears.

You need a model 7000 AC 344 engine, 4 7/16 bore X 5 9/16 stroke 4 cylinder diesel with a big 8 port head.  It was used in the AC T-16 tractors.

Lots of these engines available as power units from gov liquidation auctions

Bore spaceing on a 433 is the same as a 301  1 and 2 are togather, 3 and 4 togather and a large gap from cylinder 2 to 3 as Mack pointed out.   The gas head flows real well from the 301 gas engines and will bolt on if cut off.  The diesel head does not and is cast in a way that it is undesireable.  By moveing cyl 2 and 3 togather and 1 and 4 out, one can get a 4.6 bore in these engines.  Removeing the oil pump will allow for over a 5" stroke.

The 344 is a heavy engine at 1200 pounds when we took it apart.  The engine alone is about 600-700 pounds  for the long block as a guess.  All the accesories on it are quite heavy large cast timeing cover, flywheel and housing.
