My owners manual doesn’t clarify how to check the oil level in the loader frame. Is the cap on the left tower supposed to have a dip stick attached? I purchased the tractor and loader without a cap and then installed an oil fill, breather cap.

That cap is supposed to have a dipstick attached to it.
I have a couple of those loaders. They work great.
The cap is not cheap but still available from AGCO last I checked.

if the loader goes all the way to the top AND will fully dump and roll back the bucket while raised, it has enough oil. If you overfill it, the excess oil will get vomited out as you use it.

Yes, there is supposed to be a dipstick on the cap.
