I was going to build my own snap coupler implement for lifting. However, all my designs kept looking like a 3pt. So I decided to bite the bullet and just do a 3pt conversion.
I wanted to do the old style, as it looks lighter, I have a bad back, and I'll be taking it off and on once or twice a year. However, I realized I'll be using a PTO rake, and potentially a sickle mower, so I'll need sway control. So the new style is probably a better choice. The old style is also cheaper from OK tractor. What are y'all's opinions concerning the two styles, or preferences? I have a lower arm draw bar, and won't have a whole lot of drawbar work, so having it always attached isn't really a plus for, especially since I can just plug one into the lower arms if I really need. |
