I picked up this 3pt. to use on D15 , all seems to fit correctly. Was told it came off a D19 but I don't know about that. What I was wanting to know is,what is the center bracket on cross bar used bar for ? Sway chain ?? If so it looks to be on backward for that use. Thanks

Yes, it only works for non-pto implements
You need the top link connected that goes under the seat mount for PTO work.

Thanks for all this info and diagrams/pics. I recently bought a WD 45 that does not have the anchor and sway chain. Am a new AC owner. Was disc'ing this past weekend and the bar beneath the tractor came out from under the tractor and dung into the dirt. The 3 pt disc almost ended up on my seat. I have run Fords, Molines,IHs,and etc. but never an AC. This was a real awakening. Looks like I need to add some parts to this tractor that someone discarded a long time ago.

If you are using PTO equipment you'll most likely need to remove the spreader bar from the wishbone. Both my mower and snowblower the PTO shaft hits the crossbar when lifted full up. It hit hard enough to destroy the shield before I stopped it.

What you probably need to do is inspect and repair the latch in the Snap Couple Bell. A broken or weak spring, a wore "latch hook" or the release chain too tight can all add to this happening.
With the Snap Couple system, the lift latches on the lift arms of the rock shaft are supposed to release with upward movement like that.

Ted I had that happen to me 30 + years ago. That is when I found out about that snap coupler spring that needs to be replaced more than 1 time in 50 years. I have a huge scar on my back where the plow landed on me and have has severe back problems ever since.

The good thing is that you appear to have a real A-C adapter.

The chains are not really for anti sway; they are there merely to keep the lower arms under control so they won't swing out and hit the tires. They are not heavy enough to control the sway of a heavy piece of equipment like a bush hog.
When PTO operated equipment is used, the 3 PH is equipped with an anti-sway device (stabilizer)  like the one in the first picture below.
The top link is then attached to a clamp attached to the rocker shaft which can be seen in the second picture.
