My brain is racked on this thing, had to fix a hose got it unfold back in December and things worked ok. Got a hose made last weekend and put on. Went to fold it and then nothing. So 3 days and about a total of 8 hours and quarter tank of diesel through the 8070 i cant get it to work. I checked the orings on solenoids all were blown but one so i put all new ones on. Then checked the wires at pig tail, had 2 not connected one being the fold. Cut all off 2 inches to get to good wire then reconnected. Still barley wants to move. I took pins out of fold cylinders to see if they pull in, right side does slowly, left side wont. It wants to keep trying to raise the duplex even when switch is in fold. Do cylinders need repacked? Also the left side creeps down in field operating, right and center goes down like they should but the left takes forever. The wiring harness for the solenoids to the connector is weathered bad too but cant find wires touching. Got a local guy that used to work for a kinze dealer, was going to see if he could make a harness. Sorry for the long post. The year started of rough for me and haven't got much brighter since.

Sounds like hoses hooked wrong or worn couplers.   MACK

Its hooked up right, I've checked it but ill check it again. I have put a new set of outlets on the tractor but the tips on the hose are older, i might switch them out.

Just a thought. Is the new hose common to the function? I have seen the liner of a hose get cut during assembly of the fitting when the stem was inserted into the hose. It made a flap that blocked/restricted the flow.

The side that got the new hose works better than the old side. Im going to get some new tips cause it does need them. I think its a solonoid problem. It has 7, eliminate the 2 for markers leaves 5. 4 are the same and 1 is different. I took the bottom one out which is the one that is open all the time all others are closed till activated. It was sticking and not shutting properly and looks like its been gaulded or burnt by heat. I hope agco still has it, wouldn't think solenoids have changed that much in 35 years.

I agree with the above comment try bleeding the one side of the cylinder I had the same thing happen on a nh3 bar today the hoses would flex but I had to much pressure on both sides so I cracked the line on the return side a little and she folded in just fine

I got the thing to half way fold up after messing with a couple solenoids and cleaning them some. I did have lines cracked too when it did that. It unfolds like it should. Almost all part are discontinued, and landoll disccontinued ALL,EVERYTHING FOR 385's 2 years ago. Thats bull crap. It i cant get it im going to hook hoses to the wing cylinders and for it that way. If that doesn't work then seals would be blown, right?

Update.
Folding cylinders had blown seals. Got thoses fixed and it folded up. Made new wire harness for the control manifold since the old one turned to goo and was shorting out. Blown three hoses already which have been super fun putting through the frame. Its gonna be like new when i get done if i dont go broke fixing it.
