I have a 7040 sitting and would like to run it in a local “super field” class next summer. It’s a 3000 rpm 3LM class. Not positive on weight but I believe around 9500. I do own a welding shop with a lot of aluminum so not scared of the weight issue. More wanting to know what direction to go on engine/trans.
