Howdy, I’m trying to get any info in regards to a 3pt hitch adapter that came on a WD I bought, the hitch is yellow and marked AC1427.   It’s hell for stout but she’s seen some stuff in her day. The previous owner at some point wrapped a chain around the top of the mount and rock bar which isn’t awesome. Out of necessity, I’m moving it to my WD45 and was hoping someone could tell me more about the top mounting. I’m wondering if perhaps it’s designed to a level that it doesn’t require being attached to the rock bar perhaps.

Assuming that it is yellow all the way down to the first coat of paint, it would (I imagine) be after-market. Anything A-C made should have been orange, not yeller.

A lot of the aftermarket for the WD and wd45 had a clevis or clamp on the Rock shaft that's the point of attachment for the top third link.. I Googled the number you gave and there are pictures showing the type of setup I referred to..
