On a 220, how would you be able to tell if it was originally a 220 FWA converted back to 2wd?

If there is a place to mount the drop box on the bottom of the range transmission, I'd say it definitely could have been a 4WD. Regular 2WD never had an opening for a drop box, so if there is a cover on the bottom of the front section of the rear end housing, that could have been made into a 4WD. Also, having 4th gear at 5.8 MPH instead of 4.5 MPH is another clue.
