I would like to buy this tractor. What is it worth. I know it has been on here before, and the parts aren't right, but I would like a tractor like this to take to the shows.

That's not a 20-35 it is a Model A. If I was looking I would snatch it in a heart beat and you should too. Finding a correct appearing engine will be almost as easy as falling down, or was a few years ago when I was messing with mine.

Yes ,it is a A with 20-35 engine. BUt the hardest thing to make it correct is not the engine ,that you can find easy. The hard thing to find is the A top radiator tank .It is not a A top tank on radi. in the tractor .A tanks are higher .Plus the sides are wrong .It is the E 20-35 Short fender Radi. in this unit .

Hey Norm; There is a guy named Steve that lives near you in Rockford that might be interested in my McCormick 10-20 orchard. If we can make a deal, and I get this tractor, we could make a deal to get some parts my way. Any idea what you would want for the parts.

Is it worth that, or what should I offer him. It has been up for sale for a few years.

I wouldn't argue about the price! It has got to be worth the asking figure and A's are hard to find. Norm has told you that he has the top tank and I'm sure that he also has the bits to "convert" the engine to look correct, so just go for it before someone else reads this thread and beats you to it!!! By the way, Hi Norm; hope you are well and look forward to seeing you again next year when our little international (note the small "i") group come back to the USA.

Sorry guys,I was on a trip out west and my laptop crashed. No I didnt buy it. I am just getting back to work after being off for 4 months with a tore up shoulder. If he still has it in the spring I will see if I can get it. jhid went to look at some other Allis stuff he had, and said it seemed to be complete with dented fenders and hood.

I would go right now and buy it, if I were you! A's do NOT come up for sale every day and certainly not at that price. You really shouldn't miss such an opportunity!!!

I've been watching this tractor for an few years now from the sale in Kohler Ont were it sold for 500 bucks to an scrap dealer out side Hamilton Ont he sold it to an young guy that broke the bottom rad out of it an drove it home from an show with no coolant in the machine who sold it to the guy who got it now it's an A rear end and front wheels the engine ,rad, front axle are an 20-35. The owner now paint it and was asking 5,000 bucks last summer when he call me about it. when talkin to him a lot of red flags came up with the deal and who really owns the tractor and the shape of it. just beware
still looking for the holy grail of Allis
