LOOKS GREAT. IS THAT SHIELD OVER THE MUFFLER AN AFTER THOUGHT OR IS THAT THE WAY YOU BOUGHT IT. I BET THAT HELPS FROM BURNING THE PAINT OFF THE HOOD WITH THE UNDER HOOD MUFFLER.

1946WP,

Dad fabricated that shield from 6" aluminium irrigation pipe.  Our local autoparts store suggested this as we were looking for something to protect the hood.  I'm amazed at how effective it is, you can hold your hand an inch over the top of it and not feel much heat at all.
Thanks

WC7610,
That's what I'm hoping for. Been busy at work with this storm that ripped through, so it cut down on my moving time for the shop. I'm looking to get the new shop up and running around the first of October... This storm definately came at the wrong time!!

Does Nason paint need a clear coat on it?
How expensive is it?
Thanks

For some reason or other Pop never sold and RC.  He said it was a big underpowered tractor which would not sell.  He was right.
That said, that is one BEAUTIFUL RC.  My congratulations on a GREAT JOB!!!
Good Luck!
