Just wanted to say thanks for all the great info and parts I've got for this wc. I am restoring this tractor for my son. He is 3 months old so gonna be a little bit before he can drive it but he will love it lol   I will try to post some pictures. Does anyone have any info on getting good paint. I want to do this tractor better than our others.

You should change the numbers for the width and height for your pics before you post them. It's pretty easy to do, just click the preview button before you post it and Divide both numbers by a number to get the width down to under 800

Your pic was 3200+ wide and 2400+ high so divide by 4 and get 800 wide and 600 high and you get what I have above.
You can even go back and edit your post so the pics fit the screen.

I have a special regard for the "Flat Top" WC.  It  is the first Allis Chalmers tractor my father sold.
Looks like you are doing a GREAT JOB.
Always good to see another "Flat Top" brought back to life.
Thanks!
Good Luck!

I'm sorry guys I tried to fix the pictures but I guess I'm not smart enough. It maybe because I am using my phone and not a computer.

I thought about that this morning for some reason. Maybe you can't see what I can see with this puter.

I have had best luck with AGCO Persian #1 both in spray cans and by the quart.  Not expensive compared to automotive paints, covers and sprays very good.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

Think the WC will be ready for nascar soon?  couldn't resist, seen the poster in the back.  it ought to look awesome by the time he needs it.

My boy isn't sticking around pa, tired of the weather changing by the minute, he just enlisted in the Air Force and wants to make a career out of it, so I don't know what will happen with my 5020. course by then who knows what he'd do for parts by then.

Love hearing folks passing on the Allis dream.

Yeah not gonna be any AC in NASCAR soon but that's what happens when you drag work home. And restoring old tractors helps me feel like I'm back home on the farm
