Quick question - I'm running low on hydraulic oil, where do I fill it up? I've searched the machine, but can't find where to pour it in!

Still can't figure it out, I have no manual and all internet searches so far have been futile... can't get out there and keep cropping until I fill it up on hydraulic fluid.

The center part of platform at rear comes off with four capscrews. You will find dipsticks and fill points under the cover. (It is disguised as a sheild for shift linkage)

You mean right where your feet go when driving? There only seems to be one cap and it has a dipstick. I assumed this was transmission oil, as its next to the gear linkage. Does the 190XT use the same oil for transmission and hydraulics? I don't know much about tractors, sorry.

I blew a hose on my scarifier. Hose is fixed but the FEL is now not able to lift and the steering is jerking. I assume I lost a lot of hydraulic fluid when I blew the hose and all I need to do is fill it up again.

As you sit on the tractor there is a narrow raised rectangular cover that runs from right behind the gear shifter to back under the seat. Take off the short piece of that cover that is at the end of it under the seat. Under there will be two dipsticks. On the right side will be a flat looking cap with two ears on it with a dipstick attached. This one is for the rearend oil only. On the left is a round flat topped looking thing that is six sided at the base of it. Take a wrench and loosen that one up and take it out. It will also have a dipstick attached and this one is for the power director clutch and hydraulics as it is all one reservoir. Both of these dipsticks is also where you add fluid. HTH. Don Jr.

Don thank you so much, I didn't realize that cap on the left came off (its jammed on pretty tight). I'll take a wrench to it in the morning, fill it up, then hopefully I should be on my merry way again.

Make sure to check it with the lift arms in the lowered position. I think it even says that on the dipstick.
