Thanks,

I'm a lot further than 300 miles, but I have a 2900 off an Onan generator, that I would sell.
It was used inside a building and has a water-cooled exhaust manifold.
The guy I bought it from said that it was a standby generator at a college and it only had about 100 hours on the hour meter for the generator and the generator went bad. The generator was replaced as part of an upgrade and he had the contract for the removal.
I know nothing about the engine other than it turns over when a battery is hooked up. I bought it for a project that I am never going to get to, so I may as well sell it.
If you don't find one closer, give me a shout.

By the way, this engine does have the hole for the hydraulic pump.
