Hi all I have a 190 diesel that I pull and the clutch is the factory one that came on the 2500 gas engin and I need put heaver springs in it or replace it for this pulling season. I would gess and say it's making about 280hp what kind of springs do I need or what clutch should I use.ps runs almost 3000 rpm and I can't go higher for the class.

Buy a new pressure plate from Hy Capacity or whomever with the highest pressure springs you can get. Or add those springs (if they can be purchased separately) to your existing psi plate. Add feeder beater spring cut to the correct length inside of the pressure plate springs. Dr. Allis can tell you just how to do that. He's done a few. Be sure to use a 4 pad clutch disk. Be sure the flywheel is machined to the correct dimension from the friction surface to the pressure plate mounting / face area. Make sure your rear engine seal and clutch shaft seal are not leaking. If they are, replace them.
If your power director is still in it, it should have the hydraulic pressure increased if you haven't done that already. If you do all of those things to the flywheel clutch and something is still slipping it is most likely the power director. There is a fix to that also. Edited by O.P.S. He's referring to a disc that really doesn't have any pads, just solid all the way around. Here's one place to get it from.

I called Kenny and he said he could do one for me and for a good price. But I was wondering if I could use his pressure plate and a factor drive disk for a 200 .

Just get a pressure plate for 190-200 and have the lavender or purple springs put in it. Should work pretty dang good!

Ware would I get those springs from? Iv tryed finding heaver springs and no luck I'm limited around hear for this stuff

Local Agco dealer should be able to get them from where they get there clutches rebuilt.

Question: I am debating on installing the Feeder springs,,,, however my pressure plate has YELLOW springs in it and this clutch pedal is noticeably harder to push down than my other 190xt. This tractor has not pulled and will be equipped with 450 roosa, .093 lines and 4 x .020 injects, 4 pad clutch.
AC manual states : Lavender springs free length of 2-9/16 and test 185-190 lbs when compress to height of 1-13/16 when new Black (painted) springs free lenght of 2-9/16 and test 155-165 lbs when compressed to a height of 1-13/16 when new Yellow springs ? The springs you are talking about are die press springs.
There are places in bigger cities that have all sizes of this type spring. Google die press springs and i'm sure there will be all sizes. Years ago when I was running spring clutches, I bought some from spring Co. in K.C. If you use them, check crank thrust from time to time. MACK
