when i push the clutch pedal in and try to sheft the gears grind is there a clutch brake adjustment on it or is the clutch bad.

There is no clutch brake adjustment. Freeplay at the clutch pedal should be 4 inches or less. If it has been fine and now it isn't, I'd say you have a throwout brg failing or just simply time for a clutch. How many hrs are on it??
