175 update

   I ended up going to the auction and getting the 175 I asked about.  Please don't ask price since I'm not sure if it's staying yet or not.  Looking at the dealer tag I seen it was from Fremont Farm equipment.   When we went back for it the widow handed over the manual.   Looking at the manual it was sold new to a small dairy about 5 miles from me.   The dairy had a sale in the mid 80's and remember going with grandpa and my uncles.  At the time grandpa must of had issues with the loader frame cracking on his D17 because he commented about the piece of flat stock over the fuel tank and fabbed up something similar for the D17.    Sorta odd the tractor was through 2 auctions in its life and I was at both.  Also on the inside of the manual is hand written the number to the parts counter with Mike's name next to it.  My family has followed Mike as he changed dealers over the years.  

Sorry for the ramble but I felt it was a neat story.
