YES! I have sold several 3pt hitches off a 175 and 180 tractors that were used to convert a D17 IV to 3pt.

I did mine 3 years ago. I had a heck of a time getting 1 lift arm off and had to buy a short 1" air gun to get the bottom bolts out of the tractor. I loved it after it was done. I had an add on 3 point on it when I bought it. The AC unit is far better than any add on.

Thanks guys.  Looking at a salvage 175 this weekend hopefully...happens to have the 400 loader on it that I need for my D17.  Also want to get a series IV D17 down the line, might be cheaper to get a SC version and swap out the hitch with the 175.

If this works out all I will need is a crankshaft hydro pump for the D17.  Anyone got one or do I have top make one? (Lord help us all if I have to do that)

Get pump drive 1101-0404 off of eBay.  That bolts to your crank pulley.  Buy the shaft that goes with it.  I don't have a number for that as I had the shaft.  The pump I have is an Eaton 26013-LZC F140530FM.  I got it from Hyd Surplus.  Then all you need is the bracket to mount the pump.  It looks like this.  Good shop can make one if you give them the pump and the distance between the mounting bolts.

For the hub
for the shaft
These are Ford parts but will work on a D17
Factory setup used a chain coupling with a 10 tooth sprocket. I modified a standard #50 sprocket and shortened the chain. I got these from www.surpluscenter.com
I am working on making the plate and spacers.
