Anyone have any suggestions as the best place to get a new wiring harness for a 170 Diesel?

Tim,
We offer a 170 Gas wiring system, but not a Diesel as of yet. If your harness is complete, as rag tag as it may be, I can use it as a pattern to build you a brand new system. Something to think about... Steve@B&B |

Dale,
Just got an original in for a 190 Diesel to do for a customer. Haven't looked it over as of yet. Not sure if a 180D is the same or not. A lot of these harnesses have small revisions in some area's for different accessories. Plans are to spread it out on the wire bench this weekend and compare the wiring diagrams with the original and go from there. I got a run on D21 systems that's been keeping me busy lately. Speaking of the D21's, our new Red & Green dash pilot lights we had made just came in for the oil & tranny. Very excited over that. They look just like the originals except just a fuzz shorter at the back. Same design at the rear. Just a plug in. Our new lens' will replace the OEM lens also if the lamp itself is okay. Just another nice addition to a restoration... Steve@B&B |

A harness from a 175 diesel would be virtually identical to a 170 diesel. I donated my old 175 harness to Steve to use as a pattern. |
