Got our 170s and 175s out before the snow gets a blowing. There is a 175 missing from the picture since it is at my brothers place.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I have a 170 and love it, but have seen very few others. I did not even seen one this year at the GOTO in Albert City.

236 perkins in all 170's, and early 175's. later 175's went to the perkins 248. Was a running change, not an option. I personally think the 236 is a better engine. JMHO.

Hey guys thanks for the nice comments. This series is our favorite. The only one that has been repainted is the 3rd 170 in the line but they masked off the original decals. All the other have original paint and decals. Many of them we bought from the original owners. Calvin Pender is only 50 miles away lol. If any ya are in Nebraska give me a holler you can stop out and if the weathers nice you can drive em.

That is absolutely beautiful. I sold AC new back then , and the 170 and 175 were in my opinion the toughest tractors AC ever made. You should be proud of them. Ron

Now for the real question..... Would there be stuff available to put a Perkins 6-354 engine from a Massey combine in a D17?
A fellow that had a salvage yard told me " I know who has what you need". Then, he had a heart attack and died at 42. That sucks. |
