6 v original system and generator. Struggles starting, New Battery in 2025, reads 6.15v at half throttle when running. I believe it should be over 7 with charging from generator when running. Tested the generator at a shop and they said it is good, check the grounds. This is a new to me nicely restored tractor so not sure on all the wiring. Im no electric expert but understand the basics of it. Attached are a couple pics, not sure about the spare wire there in the console. What should I look at next?

| Pull the light switch fully out to make it full charge ?? or adjust the third brush position inside the generator dust cover. |
