What's everyone's favorite way/tool to pressure test radiators and such on our old AC tractors? I almost picked up a radiator pressure testing kit from Harbor Freight the other day but it didn't look like any of the cap adaptors would work. ------------- 1939 B, 1940 B, 1941 WC, 1951 WD, 1952 CA, 1956 WD-45 |

| I used one from AutoZone on my D 15. Had to put up a deposit but got it back when I returned the tester. Good luck |

An air compressor and a leather or rubber glove. Just be careful not to over pressure it. ------------- 1955 AC WD45 diesel with D262 repower, 1949 AC WD, 1963 A-C D17 series 3, several Allis garden tractors

| I "borrowed" a test kit from O'Reilly. Paid the deposit, (full retail price) and never returned it. Of all the test caps in the kit, the only one I've been able to use is the rubber expansion cap. I've used it so many times over the years I don't miss the "deposit". |

In the past I have made up a hose fitting with a T in it , then using a regulator to control air pressure just charge system ( on trucks and cars ) using present cap on radiator . | Have my own, bought close to Forty years ago, have to take apart and lube the piston ring occasionally but make pressure just fine and gauge is as accurate as I need. Used on Allis 7G as well the 180 and numerous OLD Cap Style cars or trucks. Not bought a update cap style for the screw on caps. |
