Haven't delt with checking air in a tire lately that has calcium but rember it as destructive to any guage. How do you do it?

Valve stem straight up top. Put a little air in tire then check

I dont run any calcium. Ive git methanol in mine. I made a checker for tires with fluid that uses regular pressure guages. Doesnt hurt them even if they get fliud in them

Thanks for the tip Ryan! All of my D 15 tires have water in them. Next time I'll try adding a little air before checking

Stem at the top and use a gauge rated for liquid in tires. Here are three and there are others rated for air/water filled Ag tires.

You cna buy a gauge rated for fluid. They usually have a little ball on the tip of the stem. I have one but still turn the stem to the top.

If you can wash the gauge off after use and spray it with wd40 0r something better or at least spray it with wd40 even if you can't wash it. If tires are full I have even parked on a hill to tip fluid away from the stem.

I put stem up top,jack wheel off ground and give a couple shots of air with plain old air chuck. After that I use the Milton inflator gauge. I change valve cores every 2 yrs part of the reason for jacking up. They get ate up and you find yourself digging out corroded pieces if left too long.

Received my Milton S 928 tire gauge today. Haven't used it yet but seems well made. Even claims Made in USA !
