If it's a post a friend has the parts you need - contact him , and if sent by message rather than in a post - be warry .
If someone doesn't have a history of posting on site take precautions .
Afraid the SCAM GAME is alive and going strong to get cash .
Lot of good people on here but the bad ones slip in

If it's a member post - or message from someone registered on here a IP lookup can tell a few things as it can be searched - Look in some of the other sections under SCAMS to find some answers

It’s good you asked before falling into the scam trap.
Like said above. If you look at there profile and he just joined or no posts in the forum section. Report them to the moderator.

Looks like I got messages about those two as well. Definitely scam - good thing you asked. My general rule of thumb is I don't send money to anybody unless I have met them in person before or they've been on the site for years and years, and have a good reputation.

Wonder if the mods have a mechanism to require new members to make a certain number of posts (say 3, or 10, or whatever) before you can PM someone? Just an idea that I have seen on other forums.

Need the handle of the individual on here that sent the PM to you
E-mail does nothing to find the individual also E-mail of who your suppose to contact doesn't help
