I recently acquired a 220 with a Stopler cab on it, glass has been knocked out and it is in rough shape. I currently hate the way the door swings and am planning on removing the cab from the tractor. Does anyone have any use for it for parts or should I just scrap it and be done?

Yes, it’s a terrible system.

wasn't a terrible set up in the day, there was no air conditioning back than, so you could swing the 2 windows back and tie them with the J bolt, so air would pass through the cab, and you could keep the Dutch door closed to keep anything or anyone secured inside the cab, and keep the mud out

IH had the 2 piece door, part swung up. I think that was worse, just my opinion.

My seriesIII has an egging cab with the split doors. The uppers hinge to the rear, the lowers hinge to the front. They come just to the side of the dash. I didn't like it when I got it, but I like it now. It is the easiest cab of the tractors we have to get in and out of. I leave the uppers open and the lowers closed.
