In 1968, The Andy Griffith Show had an episode titled The Church Benefactors. In the last few minutes, an orange power unit can be seen across the street. It maybe that Mayberry had an Allis Chalmers power unit.

More importantly, did Mayberry have an Allis-Chalmers Dealer?

We visited Mount Airy, NC this winter, which is Andy Griffith's hometown and has many of the places that were part of Mayberry (Floyd's Barber Shop, Snappy Lunch, the Sheriff's office/court room, etc.). I's a fun place if you liked the Andy Griffith show, but I didn't see an AC power unit...

The episode where Opie works at the pharmacy (I think), shows a WD45 pedal tractor on the shelf behind the counter.
