Interstate Battery created The Great American Race, a two-week, cross-country vintage car race with $250,000 in prize money in 1983. At that time, all participating cars had to be street legal and at least 45-years-old; later races bumped the age requirement to at least 50-years-old; if they held that race today, the requirement would be 75-80-years-old. Each year, the race had differing starting and ending points. In 1990, the race started at the Buick Classic at Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York and finished at Disneyland. The last Great American Race was held in 1996. It is finally For Sale - if it is still there - and the location coordinates are in the post. Gallatin is on 31E, right ?, so it isn't very far from you. As best I can see, miraculously, all the glass is intact and it don't look like it would take a lot to make it look new.
